• Flower Shop promotes and uses local Florists and agents for your deliveries of flowers and gifts in South Africa.
• Flower Shop will do their utmost to deliver your gift timeously, but we cannot guarantee the delivery at a specific time.
• Items pictured may vary in design or appearance due to seasonal availability and design interpretation. If a particular flower, product or container is unavailable, an item of similar quality and value will be substituted. In every case professional attention will be given to your order to ensure that it is as similar as possible to the requested order. Quality will not be compromised.
• Hamper Deliveries take between 1-5 working days.
  
• Flowers - Same day delivery if placed before 12 noon (GMT +2), unless stiplated. Same day deliveries can be impacted by the non availability of the recipient or other factors beyond our control. We will keep you informed of events which could impact your delivery, should any arise.
• Prices are as shown. Regrettably we do not accept deposits from non South African banks.
  
• Delivery areas are those within the reach of the local agent, should the delivery area be outside of that radius we will contact the recipient to come and take delivery of the purchase. The delivery charge will be included in the value of the purchase.
  
• Before you submit your credit card number, make sure that the padlock symbol in the status bar of your browser indicating that your information is secured and encrypted and not visible by anyone else is displayed. Placing your mouse cursor over the padlock should give you a message similar to this : SSL SECURED (128BIT), Authenticated by Equifax Secure Inc., or maybe Authenticated by Thawte Consulting cc. Submitting your credit card details where the site is not secured is strongly not recommended.
• We also take telephonic orders as we understand that very often speaking to a real person is preferable to speaking to a machine. Please feel free to phone your order in. Calling outside of South African business hours is unlikely to reach a human operator, however email is monitored. IT people dont need sleep, ask anyone.
• We do not offer our services or databases to tracing agencies, please do not even ask.
  e.g. I am looking for my Uncle Simon, who I last saw in <insert town of preference here> because I want to send him some Flowers, give me his address and then I will order.
• And to the very often asked question, are you in <insert town of preference here>? Yes and no!
  Yes because we likely do deliver to <insert town of preference here>, through chosen agents.
  No because we are an internet based company and our presence is chiefly on the internet.

Before long people realised you could conclude business deals on the internet and accept credit cards in payment. Well it wasnt long and everyone was looking to broaden the range of business as they knew it. This is one of the fastest growing arenas at the moment, if not the fastest. Also one of the more expensive to setup and maintain. Enter the internet florist. To begin with, a florist who knew a bit about the complexities of IT, or knew someone else who did. Later companies who specifically create and manage web content and as the delivery vector, the florists who know a lot about floristry. Simple realy, to plough a field you use a tractor, not a mini.

• Are we open 24-7-365?
  Because of the Internet Flowershop.co.za is open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and 365 days per year. Through the Internet we can take orders 24-7-365. Our delivery limitations are listed elsewhere on the site. However, generally during week days there are 2 delivery slots, pre Lunch and pre closing. ie Morning and Afternoon. Saturdays have a morning delivery slot only. Public holidays are not available for deliveries. Where we attempt to deliver, on request, outside of these times, we do so as a courtesy to accommodate customer needs. We do not guarantee or offer this service. We cannot take responsibility for Internet unavailability. If the Internet is down, we are down.
• Who signed for a delivery more than 3 months ago? We do not keep delivery records longer than 90 days. Our agents will probably not either.
• Was my anonymous order delivered? Should you not specify a name in the message field from whom the gift comes or perhaps request an Anonymous order in the special instruction box, no name will be inserted on your behalf.
• Do you follow up on anonymous orders? We are happy to make your order anonymous however, we do not follow up or refund anonymous orders.
• Have we delivered on Sundays? Yes. Mothers Day for example is on a Sunday. Otherwise No.
  
• Have we delivered after 10pm at night? Yes, Very rarely.
  Do we offer this as a service? By arrangement and availability only. At the discretion of the deliver agent.
